We all know it, the “summer vacation blues”:
it describes the low mood that some people experience after the holidays when everyday life begins again. It is a feeling of melancholy and difficulty in getting used to work or school again.
Causes of the summer vacation blues:
Adjustment:
The body and mind have to readjust from the relaxation and freedom of vacation to the structure and obligations of everyday life.
Tips for beating the summer vacation blues:
Practice Kyokushin and maintain social contacts: Meet up with dojo friends and colleagues to ease the transition.
Positive thoughts:
Plan new activities or projects to look forward to: if you haven`t already; subscribe to Kyokushin class and get started.
